Now, Why Are The Industry Willing To Choose Glass Fused Bolted Steel Tanks?

Glass fused bolted steel tank, is the use of special high-strength enamel special steel as the base material, the use of professional boring technology, the high inert anti-corrosion glaze layer fusion on the surface of the base material, and made of standardized steel plate module, after the packaging arrived at the construction site, through low consumption and rapid installation, the final completion of the tank body forming can technology.

Compared with other tanks (reinforced concrete tank, carbon steel welded tank), glass fused bolted steel tanks have achieved breakthrough innovation in materials, anti-corrosion technology and installation mode, and is a world advanced tank making technology.

Enamel Process Development History

Enamel is the inorganic glassy material (enamel) through high temperature melting on the base metal (steel plate) and firmly combined with the metal (steel plate) a composite material.

Simply put, it is a combination of steel and glass.

Enamel technology probably originated in western Asia, where it was first applied to the coloring of gold and jewelry headpieces.

Around 1750, the application of porcelain glaze to small metal sheets reached its peak in Battersea. Around that time, the black metal began to glaze.

With the appearance of non-ferrous metal enamel technology, people began to use enamel technology to make daily necessities. Kitchen utensils were originally made of cast iron, but later, when steel was developed, it was found to be cheaper to make kitchen utensils out of steel.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the application of enamel on these two metals has developed rapidly and steadily. Enamelled steel products are common in kitchen utensils, signboards, metal fittings, bathtubs, refrigerator linings and cooktop fittings. Cast iron products are mainly bathtubs, sinks, heavy stoves, and less well-known items.

Both industries are moving forward side by side, each with its own technology. One of the new developments in the enamel steel plate industry is the application of enamel steel plates to residential and commercial decoration materials, and enamel steel plates for roof and interior decoration have been produced for many years. The main advantages of this material are cleanliness, long service life, and the ability to maintain its color and surface finish.

Glass Fused Bolted Steel Tank Industry Application

Glass lined bolted steel tanks are widely used for water storage, oil storage and bulk storage in energy, environmental protection, bulk cargo and other industries because of its advantages of fast installation and good anti-corrosion performance.

Germany, France, the Czech Republic and other advanced countries began to study the technology of enamel assembly in the 1970s in urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment projects, the State Environmental Protection Administration in order to develop a combination of process technology and manufacturing technology as one, with high-tech urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment equipment, The "Research and development of efficient unit processing equipment" is listed as the "ninth Five-Year" research topic industry.

At present, the most mature brand of China's glass fused bolted steel tank is Beijing Yingherui, which began to learn from foreign research and development of glass fused bolted steel tanks in the mid-1990s. After unremitting efforts, Yingherui's glass fused bolted steel tank technology has reached the level of the European Union.

Enamel Process Production Process

  • Stock of raw materials

  • Machining treatment

  • Shot blasting, arc pressing

  • Glaze spraying, drying

  • Glaze burnt

Glass Fused Bolted Steel Tank Installation

Commonly used enamel steel plate thickness of 3~12mm, standard plate size is 1.25m(height)*2.5m(width), vertical, horizontal lap after the net size of 1.2m(height)*2.4m(width).

The splicing between the enamel steel plates of the tank body adopts the form of overlapping the upper and lower steel plates and connecting them with self-locking bolts. A layer of hot-dip galvanized stirrup is provided every 2 layers of plates. The lower left and upper right corners of the enamel steel plate are cut in a Z-shape, and the thickness of the superposition of the 4 plates is 3 plates.

In order to ensure safety and reduce high-altitude work, the enamel assembly tank is installed using the flip method, first install the first layer of enamel plate, the top rises after completion, and then install the second layer of enamel steel plate, and so on.

Advantages Of Glass Fused Bolted Steel Tanks

  • The installation speed is fast and the construction period is short

  • Excellent anti-corrosion properties, strong adaptability to inorganic and organic environments

  • Beautiful appearance, enhance the project image

  • Strong temperature adaptability, can be constructed in cold

  • It can be combined with various processes to form an assembled reactor and improve the added value of the reactor

  • Factory production, high degree of systematization, standardization, high quality control

  • The maintenance is small and simple, and the life cycle is much longer than that of similar products

  • Relocation, expansion and recycling can be realized
